Soft Sophistication at the New Orleans Museum of Art

Allyce and Wilson celebrated their wedding on October 28, 2023 with the ceremony at the beautiful St. Patrick Church and the reception at NOMA in City Park.

Allyce chose to have an all white bouquet, contrasting the colorful petite bridesmaids bouquets. Allyce's bouquet consisted primarily of white ranunculus and white roses, creating more depth and texture than a traditional round rose bouquet.

Her bridesmaids bouquets introduced the colors showcased throughout the reception with blush pinks, soft whites, coral oranges, delicate blues and a touch of greenery for depth.

Simple, yet elegant low arrangements in glass compotes filled the rooms surrounding the main reception area to avoid any distraction from the curated wall colors and historical artworks. The delicate color palette included pale pinks, traditional whites, soft warm tones from peach roses and ranunculus as well as pale cool tones from tweedia and delphinium.

Lush arrangements in decorative plaster lion urns decorated the four main pillars around the staircase. Clusters of pillar candles were added to various steps to create a romantic passageway for the couples' grand entrance.

For the design of the main reception area, we wanted to give the feel of sophisticated grandeur without taking away from the exquisite design of the museum's architecture. Two of the five reserved tables housed large, full arrangements on decorative glass vases adorned with various crystal candle pedestals and taper holders. The remaining three round tables were decorated with crystal candelabras ornamented with floral accents, also surrounded by crystal tapered candlesticks, white tapers and votives.

The 24 foot floral stage front alluringly framed the evening's entertainment and provided an enchanting backdrop for those special first dances .

Our favorite moment from this wedding was definitely the cake table display. We added a full 360 degree meadow celebrating the already stunning cake design.

Congratulations, again, to Allyce and Wilson!

Special thanks to all the vendors who made this night magical!
