New Year, New Life Chapter

Rachel and Mitch brought in the new year with a celebration of their love and union. They held their ceremony at Marigny Opera House in New Orleans on December 30, 2023 and hosted their next day reception at The Four Seasons Hotel.

We kept the floral design for this wedding fun and funky with the addition of disco balls, painted Anthurium and miniature pineapples. (Mitch's favorite fruit)

Rachel's cascading bouquet included Phalaenopsis orchids, calla lilies, painted Anthurium, mini pineapples, roses, white ranunculus Nerine Lily and Jasmine vine

To honor Rachel's Jewish faith, they were married underneath a traditional Chuppah. The acrylic Chuppah was decorated with large white flowers, orchids and trailing greenery. We balanced the top front corners and provided depth to the design with two slightly askew clusters on the back columns. We loved the floating effect that was captured in the photographs with the combination of the clear acrylic and dramatic lighting in the large Opera House setting.

The reception was the following day on New Year's Eve at The Four Seasons. We complimented acrylic furniture, linens and candle heavy design with disco ball accents, iridescent containers and but vases. The textural variety in the flowers helped add interest and dimension to the all white floral palette.

Large clusters of white blooms and greenery were nestled in between the large reflective balls placed in front of and around the DJ Booth and LED dance floor. The florals added a contrasting texture to the smooth and shiny decor.

This was definitely a super fun way to add intrigue to a traditional white and green color palette!
